Job Description
- As a Business Development Manager at Global Baltai Energy Limited, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our business by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the renewable energy sector.
- You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers in federal parastatals, state governments, and local authorities.
Your primary objectives will be to:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive new business growth.
- Identify and qualify potential clients in the renewable energy sector.
- Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Prepare and submit proposals for government tenders and procurement processes.
- Manage and nurture customer relationships to ensure long-term business success.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the government sector.
- Conduct market research and identify potential business opportunities.
- Prepare and submit competitive proposals for government tenders and procurement processes.
- Negotiate contracts and manage project deliverables to ensure client satisfaction.
- Track and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the renewable energy market and its latest trends.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience with marketing and sales methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with government procurement processes and regulations.
- Experience with solar energy technology and its applications.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
- Fluency in a second language (Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba) is a plus.
Salary
N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
