We focus on foods that our potential market is culturally affiliated with and those that have international appeal to facilitate easy acceptance and adoption of our products by the market. Examples include Peeled beans, Bean flour, Pap powder with tiger nut milk, and Date sweetener.

 

Job Description

  • As a Remote Sales Solution Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our modern trade sales team by providing them with the resources and assistance they need to achieve success.
  • You will work collaboratively with the sales team to identify customer needs, develop customized solutions, and navigate the sales cycle to drive revenue growth.
  • This role is mainly remote and offers flexibility to work from a home office environment for 3 to 4 days.

 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Sales Team and Insight Analyst to:
    • Maintain accurate store data: Ensure all details of each store, including product availability, are captured and maintained within the CRM system.
    • Reconcile payments and invoices: Verify that stores have paid for products sold, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
    • Analyze sales velocity: Track the duration it takes for stores to sell out their stock, providing valuable insights into product demand.
    • Identify slow-moving inventory: Flag stores with overstocked products exceeding a 30-day threshold, prompting the deployment of roving merchandisers to boost sales.
  • Develop customized sales strategies: Partner with the Sales Team to create tailored sales plans for each store, considering factors like foot traffic, store density, and in-store merchandising capabilities.
  • Implement and optimize sales strategies: Work collaboratively with the Sales Team and Insight Analyst to execute effective sales strategies specific to each store’s needs.
  • Monitor store performance: Track the last date of store supply to assess sales rate and overall store performance.
  • Set and achieve sales goals: Establish achievable sales targets for each store and collaborate with the Sales Team to ensure successful goal attainment.
  • Generate sales performance reports: Prepare comprehensive weekly sales performance reports for each member of the Sales Team, providing actionable insights for future strategies.

 

Education / Experience

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Acceptable (with relevant experience): Associate’s degree in a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum: 1 year of experience in a sales support or analyst role.
  • Preferred: 1-3 years of experience in a sales support or analyst role.
  • Experience Nuances:
  • While a Bachelor’s degree is preferred, a strong candidate with an Associate’s degree and relevant experience can also be a good fit for this role. Here’s what the “relevant experience” might look like:
  • Experience in a sales support role where they assisted with data management, reporting, and customer support.
  • Experience in an analyst role where they analyzed data, identified trends, and created reports.
