We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

  1. HR Intern
  2. Legal Intern
  3. Risk & Compliance Intern
  4. IT Support Intern

 

1. HR Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team by maintaining digital and electronic records of employees
  • Assist with recruitment process by posting job openings, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews and performing employment & background checks
  • Assist with performance management process
  • Assist the HR Team with employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist with onboarding of new hires
  • Any other tasks assigned

Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Human Resources or People Operations
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Google Office Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

 

2.  Legal Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Provide documentation support – draft and review of agreements and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research on related topics, for internal and external  reporting purposes
  • Undertake regulatory filings to the relevant regulatory bodies, and provide company secretariat support
  • Support internal operations through the provision of legal advisory.

Technical Requirements:

  • Understanding of legal research tools and experience with documentation management systems
  • Attention to detail, drafting & analytical skills
  • An awareness of Payments and Data Protection laws
  • Be called to the Nigerian Bar
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills

 

3. Risk & Compliance Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with establishing and implementing management frameworks in various areas such as IT GRC,  incident management, fraud management, anti-money laundering and regulatory compliance strategies
  • Assist in developing fraud rules and supporting in  execution of anti-fraud system developments
  • Assist in third party validation and engagements
  • Support in any ad-hoc projects that might be assigned to aid Duplo’s compliance and security

Technical Requirements:

  • Proficiency in the use of Google & Microsoft office suite
  • Basic knowledge of regulatory agents in the financial space
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and work in a collaborative environment
  • Demonstrated interest in Governance Risk and Compliance (IT & operations)

 

4. IT Support Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including hardware and    software.
  • Support end-users with technical issues and provide troubleshooting assistance.
  • Help manage and maintain network systems, including monitoring and resolving connectivity issues.
  • Assist in maintaining security protocols and procedures to protect company data and systems.
  • Participate in the installation and upgrade of software applications.
  • Document IT procedures and processes to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team on various projects and initiatives to improve overall system performance.
  • Stay updated on the latest IT trends and technologies.

Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and security principles.
  • Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux.
  • Some experience or coursework in hardware and software troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
  • A keen interest in IT and a proactive attitude towards learning.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
