JOB SUMMARY- Expert Sourcer (Recruiter)
- The Expert Sourcer (Recruiter) will be responsible for sourcing and reaching out to qualified candidates for current open roles by using databases, Social Media & Professional Networks/Platforms.
- Your responsibilities include connecting with potential candidates online and offline, screening applications, conducting interviews and filtering candidates for open positions and supporting the Group Talent Acquisition Manager as needed.
- The Expert Sourcer (Recruiter) must have Knowledge of sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Github etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Expert Sourcer (Recruiter)
1. SOURCING
- Network with potential hires through professional groups on social media and during events.
- Source candidates using various sourcing techniques on social media and niche professional websites like LinkedIn, Facebook, Github etc.
- Participate in job fairs
- Go to universities to identify potential talents.
- Support the souring of candidates for Graduate / Management Trainees.
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
2. SCREENING/CONDUCTING INTERVIEWS
- Screen resumes and job applications.
- Conduct initial phone screens to create shortlists of qualified candidates.
- Interview candidates in-person for a wide range of roles (junior, senior and executive).
- Review employment applications and background check reports.
- Submit weekly tracker / progress report.
3. RELATIONSHIP BUILDING/MANAGEMENT
- Follow up with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities.
- Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates.
- Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
- Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
4. BUILD/MANAGE CANDIDATE DATABASE
- Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities.
- Maintain a database of potential candidates for future job openings.
REQUIREMENTS- Expert Sourcer (Recruiter)
- Bachelor’s degree in any relevant is required.
- Professional qualification, such as CIPM, SHRM or CIPD is essential.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years work experience in a similar role.
- At least 3 years experience in Consulting or Manufacturing Environment.
- Good Knowledge of Candidate Selection Methods
- Communications and Interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc)
- Knowledge of Sourcing Techniques on social media and niche professional websites especially LinkedIn.
- Excellent Organization and Planning Skills.
- Relationship Management Skills
- Excellent Time Management Skills.
