Location: Kogi, Nigeria

We are currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team in Kogi, Nigeria.

 

Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager will oversee all warehouse operations, ensuring
efficient storage, inventory management, and distribution of ceramic products. This role involves
managing the warehouse team, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance
with safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in warehouse management, strong leadership skills, and a keen attention to detail.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations Management:
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and effective storage, inventory
control, and distribution of products.
• Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize warehouse layout and space utilization.
• Coordinate with production, sales, and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Inventory Management:
• Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring all stock is properly documented and accounted for.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock levels and identify discrepancies.
• Implement and manage inventory control systems to minimize stock loss and ensure accurate tracking.
• Analyze inventory data to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.
Team Leadership:
• Lead, train, and supervise the warehouse team, providing guidance and support.
• Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure productivity and accuracy.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and feedback.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Quality Control:
• Ensure all products are stored and handled according to quality standards.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
• Implement and enforce quality control measures to prevent damage and ensure product integrity.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control checks and corrective actions taken.
Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions for the team.
• Report and address any safety hazards or incidents promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
Logistics Coordination:
• Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Resolve any issues related to shipping or delivery delays.
• Maintain accurate records of shipping and receiving activities.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in the manufacturing or ceramics industry.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

 

Salary Range: ₦4m-₦6.5m Annually
