1. Social Media Manager

Job Objectives

  • This role is responsible for developing and implementing the company’s social media strategy to increase online presence, improve marketing and sales efforts, and enhance brand awareness.
  • This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can manage various social media platforms and engage with the online community

Job Responsibilities
Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Evaluate emerging social media platforms and determine their relevance to the company’s objectives.

Content Creation and Management:

  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written, and audio) that is informative, appealing, and consistent with the brand’s voice and style.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and other team members to create compelling content.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns, including content, contests, and advertisements.

Community Engagement:

  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a “Social” way while cultivating leads and sales.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints received via social media channels in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct online advocacy and open a stream for cross-promotions.
  • Act as a brand ambassador and ensure all social media interactions reflect the company’s values and mission.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to gauge the success of campaigns and strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media activity, engagement, follower growth, and other relevant metrics.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide detailed reports with insights and recommendations.

Account Management:

  • Oversee the company’s social media accounts on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and others.
  • Ensure all accounts are up-to-date with the latest features and best practices.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all social media platforms by working closely with the marketing and product teams.

Crisis Management:

  • Escalate issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
  • Handle sensitive situations with tact and professionalism to protect the company’s reputation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and ability to generate innovative ideas.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with SEO, web traffic metrics, and online marketing.
  • ​Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.

2. Finance Manager

Job Objectives

  • To have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company.

Job Responsibilities
Transactions:

  • Ensure accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
  • Ensure all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
  • Ensure accounts receivable are collected promptly
  • Process payroll in a timely manner
  • Ensure periodic bank reconciliations are completed
  • Ensure required debt payments are made on a timely basis
  • Maintain the chart of accounts
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions
  • Ensure smooth running of finance operational activities

Management:

  • Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department’s goals and objectives
  • Oversee the accounting operations of subsidiary organizations’, especially their control systems, transaction-processing operations, and policies and procedures

Reporting:

  • Issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report
  • Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations
  • Maintain a 6-month rolling cash flow forecast

Compliance:

  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit, bankers and tax authority
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Requirements

  • Certified FCA
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles
  • Knowledge of financial reporting
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal laws regarding accounting, finance and taxation

3. Treasury Manager

Job Objectives 

  • The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the company’s treasury functions, including cash management, liquidity planning, risk management, and financial investment activities.

Job Responsibilities
Cash Management:

  • Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
  • Manage short-term borrowing and investment activities to optimize cash flow.
  • Forecast cash flow requirements and develop strategies to maintain optimal cash levels.

Liquidity Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategies to manage the company’s liquidity risk.
  • Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts, ensuring alignment with business plans.
  • Identify and mitigate potential liquidity gaps.

Risk Management:

  • Assess and manage financial risks related to currency exchange, interest rates, and credit.
  • Develop and implement hedging strategies to mitigate financial risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Investment Management:

  • Oversee the company’s investment portfolio, including the evaluation and selection of investment opportunities.
  • Monitor investment performance and recommend adjustments to align with financial goals.
  • Conduct due diligence on potential investment opportunities.

Banking Relationships:

  • Maintain and develop relationships with financial institutions and banking partners.
  • Negotiate banking and financing arrangements to secure favorable terms.
  • Manage bank accounts, ensuring optimal structure and utilization.

Debt Management:

  • Oversee the company’s debt portfolio, including issuance, refinancing, and repayment strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with debt covenants and reporting requirements.
  • Develop strategies to optimize the company’s capital structure.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Prepare regular reports on cash positions, liquidity forecasts, investment performance, and financial risks.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analysis.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to treasury activities.

Requirements
Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is a plus.
  • Proven experience in treasury management, cash management, financial risk management, or related roles.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and investment strategies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial modeling.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.

4. Senior Corporate Account Manager – Indian Origin

Job Description

  • Responsible for managing key client accounts, driving sales, and building strong, lasting relationships with clients.
  • This role involves both sales and account management functions. Plays a pivotal role in maintaining and growing Wakanow. HNI and Corporate client base, generating revenue, and ensuring high client satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Understand clients’ needs, objectives, and challenges.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
  • Generate new leads of HNI and Corporates especially in the own organizations.

Sales and Revenue Generation:

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities for new and existing HNI and Corporate accounts.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Present products or services effectively to clients.
  • Negotiate and close sales deals.

Account Planning:

  • Develop account plans and strategies to maximize client satisfaction and revenue.
  • Identify growth opportunities within accounts.

Cross-Selling and Upselling:

  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell Wakanow products or services.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop campaigns that target new and existing HNI and Corporate clients.

Account Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client interactions, sales, and account status.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports on account status and sales activity.

Client Support:

  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing excellent customer support.

Market Knowledge:

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.
  • Provide business with insights and information relevant to increasing market leadership.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess relevant qualifications with 4-5 years experience.
