Role:  UX Designer

Reporting To: Lead Experience Designer

 

Our designers are challenged with crafting an innovative end-to-end user experience for our digital-first banking platform and financial products. Expect ample daily collaboration with internal and partner stakeholders as well as cross-functional teams to define, design, and refine our digital customer experiences. Channels include our apps, websites, push notifications, and emails.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Craft holistic design solutions that address business, brand and user requirements for our app and web experiences.
  • Communicate conceptual ideas, design rationale and the specifics of the user centered design process.
  • Define UX and UI requirements and work with teams to execute a consistent experience across systems.
  • Participate in usability studies and directly collect and react to user feedback.
  • Design wireframes, user flows, storyboards, prototypes and other UX deliverables.
  • Create and maintain product information architecture as well as any UI patterns for active, evolving design systems.
  • Work directly with engineering to deliver the final product, maintain accountability for design execution.
  • Create world-class experiences that stand apart from the competition.

 

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with at least 2 years managing design systems.
  • Proven track record of leading design projects from concept to completion.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing.
  • Experience with interaction design principles and tools (wireframes, personas, mental models, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of usability and heuristics.
  • Expert at properly leveraging responsive and adaptive designed UI’s effectively.
  • Possess a solid grasp of digital design best practices, principles, and current web and mobile technologies.
  • Experience working in teams that use Agile Methodologies
  • Knowledge and efficiency with UI design and prototyping tools such as Axure RP, Invision, Sketch and Adobe CC.
  • Strong references with an online portfolio of work, demonstrating samples of design deliverables such as user flows, wireframes, and a screen designs.
  • B.S. in HCI, Interaction Design, Human Factors or equivalent experience.
