Job Description:

The Travel Curator is responsible for planning and organizing seamless travel experiences for individuals or groups. Key responsibilities include crafting engaging itineraries, coordinating logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring effective communication with participants. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism or related fields, proven experience in tour coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in travel planning software.

Key Responsibilities:

  1.  Itinerary Planning: Develop engaging travel itineraries tailored to the interests of the target audience, including thorough research and selection of destinations, activities, accommodations, and attractions.
  2. Logistics Coordination: Arrange transportation, accom. modation, and activities, collaborating with local service providers to secure reservations, permits, and necessary arrangements.
    3. Participant Communication: Act as the main point of contact, addressing inquiries and providing pre-trip information. Ensure participants receive detailed m itineraries, packing lists,
    and relevant travel details.
    4. Budget Management: Develop and manage tour budgets, negotiating cost effective deals with vendors to maximize value.
    5. Emergency Preparedness: Establish contingency plans for unforeseen circumstances
    and provide participants with emergency contact information and guidelines.
    6. Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections of destinations, accommodations, and activities to ensure safety and quality standards. Collect and analyze participant feedback for continuous improvement.

 

Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
  •  Proven experience in tour coordination or travel planning.
  •  Strong knowledge of travel destinations, accommodations, and activities.
  •  Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  •  Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  •  Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
  • Proficiency in travel planning software.
