Description
- Work with hiring managers and their teams to assist with external recruitment efforts.
- Partner with Human Resources & Line Managers for internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment is the assessment of employees for different or more senior roles.)
- Use social media, job boards, internet sourcing, and other technical means to source candidates for open jobs for current open roles and identify future talent needs and proactively recruit and source candidates within specific timelines.
- Manage the recruitment process and life cycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers.
- Guide hiring managers and decision makers by providing valuable insight, and hiring and employment data.
- Develop specialized or competitive intelligence and research in regard to talent development.
- Manage relationships with recruiters, academic and professional groups, and with a wider audience through the use of social media and other targeted outreach to key audiences; including but not limited to coordination of on-campus recruiting, job fairs, conferences, and other opportunities
- Prepare offer letters, contracts, and agreements and compile other support documentation to ensure that recruitment and selection activities are in compliance with governmental regulations and organizational policies and procedures
- Review and update employee job descriptions regularly.
- Performance management
- Conduct Training Need Assessments/ Surveys.
- Conduct internal training and orientation programs for new hires.
- Train employees for specific jobs.
- Develop, organize, conduct, and evaluate training programs.
- Create training materials.
- Develop competency frameworks and associated development strategies and approaches.
- Develop a diverse range of skills across functions.
- Any other tasks as advised by management
Requirements
- Extensive headhunting/recruitment experience, particularly in building diverse teams
- Prior experience within a fast-paced, metric-driven Talent Acquisition organization (agency or corporate)
- Minimum of 3 years cumulative experience in HR practices related to talent acquisition and management.
- B.Sc. degree from an accredited university in social sciences or another related field with excellent interpersonal focus. Post-graduate degree in a related field or professional qualification (CIPM, CIPD, etc.) is desired.
