We are seeking a dynamic and innovative individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager/Digital
Marketing Specialist for our microfinance bank. This role will be responsible for developing and executing
social media strategies, managing digital marketing campaigns, and enhancing our online presence.
Responsibilities- Social Media Manager/Digital Marketing Specialist
- Develop and execute social media strategies: Create comprehensive social media plans to
increase brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation. - Manage social media channels: Oversee all social media platforms including but not limited to
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube. Develop and curate engaging content,
schedule posts, and monitor performance metrics. - Create and optimize digital marketing campaigns: Plan and implement digital advertising
campaigns across various channels such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads.
Continuously optimize campaigns to maximize ROI and reach target audiences. - Content creation and curation: Generate compelling visual and written content for social media
posts, blog articles, email newsletters, and other digital channels. Ensure content is aligned with
brand messaging and resonates with our target market. - Community management: Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, and
feedback. Engage with followers, address customer concerns, and foster positive relationships with
our online community. - Analyze performance: Utilize analytics tools to track and analyze key performance metrics such as
engagement, reach, conversion rates, and website traffic. Use insights to refine strategies and
improve campaign effectiveness. - Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices
in social media marketing and digital advertising. Identify opportunities for innovation and strategic
growth.
Job Requirements: Social Media Manager/Digital Marketing Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 -5 years of experience in social media management and digital marketing, preferably
in the financial services industry. - Proven track record of successfully managing social media channels and executing digital
marketing campaigns. - Strong understanding of social media platforms, advertising tools, and analytics platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and
engage with online audiences. - Creative thinker with a keen eye for design and storytelling.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer), digital advertising platforms
(e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager), and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook
Insights). - Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a
fast-paced environment. - Passion for financial inclusion and making a positive impact in underserved communities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Social Media Marketing or Digital Marketing.
- Experience working in microfinance, banking, or related financial services sectors.
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines for financial institutions regarding social media and digital marketing.
- Experience with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) strategies and tactics.
