Job Title: Security Guard

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description

• We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Security Guards to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining the security and safety of the estate, residents, and visitors.
• The role requires individuals who are proactive, professional, and able to handle security situations effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Patrol the estate to ensure the security of residents and property.
• Monitor entrance and exit points, verifying visitor and delivery access.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies within the estate.
• Maintain a log of all security-related activities and incidents.
• Inspect and ensure that all security equipment is functional.
• Enforce estate rules and prevent unauthorized access or activities.
• Assist with traffic control and parking within the estate.
• Liaise with the management team regarding any security concerns.

Requirements

• Minimum qualification: SSCE or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a security guard or in a related field is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay alert.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to stand or patrol for long periods.
• Ability to work on a rotational shift basis, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Trustworthy, reliable, and able to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
