Job Title: Relationship Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

 

Responsibilities

  • Manage relationships with the DISCO and key stakeholders.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
    • Understand clients’ financial goals and provide customized solutions.
    • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and escalations.
  • Product Knowledge:
    • Stay updated on the organization’s products, services, and features.
    • Educate clients on the benefits and usage of Fintech products.
    • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell products based on client needs.
  • Onboarding and Training:
    • Assist clients in the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience.
    • Provide training sessions to clients on using Fintech platforms and tools effectively.
  • Risk Management:
    • Assess and mitigate risks associated with client accounts.
    • Monitor transactions for potential fraudulent activities and report any suspicious behavior.
  • Customer Retention:
    • Implement strategies to enhance customer retention and loyalty.
    • Proactively address and resolve client issues to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Operations, and Product Development, to address client needs and improve overall customer experience.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market developments.
    • Provide feedback to the management team for product and service enhancements.
  • Reporting:
    • Generate and analyze reports related to client engagement, satisfaction, and key performance indicators.
    • Present insights and recommendations to the management team.

 

Education Qualifications, Experience, Skills and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience as a Relationship Manager or similar role in the financial industry.
  • Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and Fintech trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional service.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights for client improvement.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and other relevant software.
  • Certification in Relationship Management or Financial Planning is a plus.
