Job Summary:

The Real Estate Development Manager is responsible for developing effective relationships with key stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, landowners, and government authorities, to enhance the company’s credibility in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed development briefs for new projects, establishing project parameters for consultants.
  • Conduct initial scheme feasibility assessments and present reports to the Board for approval.
  • Develop project financial and construction schedules.
  • Prepare all documentation required for securing necessary consents or approvals, including funding.
  • Coordinate and monitor consultants’ inputs throughout project development.
  • Facilitate the procurement of approved projects, including arranging design inputs, obtaining approvals, and negotiating contracts.
  • Implement quality control measures for each development scheme.
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing team to align development plans with marketing strategies and maximize project value.

Skills & Competencies

  • 10+ years of experience in real estate, with at least 5 years in development management.
  • Experience working on large-scale real estate development projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of real estate law and regulations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and attitude.

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in real estate, construction management, or a related field. An MBA is advantageous.
    Membership of a relevant professional body.
