Job Description
- We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiographer to join our dynamic radiology department.
- As a Radiographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray, Ultrasound, and other radiographic equipment.
- You will play a crucial role in patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Perform radiographic procedures as prescribed by physicians, following established protocols.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explain the process, and answer any questions to ensure comfort and cooperation.
- Ensure accurate positioning of patients to obtain optimal images.
- Evaluate images for quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary.
- Maintain patient records and imaging files, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current with developments in radiographic techniques and technology.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
- Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and understanding of imaging techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 Monthly
