Job Description
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant Manager to join our team in the Food & Beverages industry.
- As the Quality Control Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout our production process.
- Your keen eye for detail and strong analytical skills will be essential in identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and oversee the daily activities of the quality control team
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks throughout the production process
- Create and implement quality assurance protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and quality issues
- Implement corrective actions to prevent the recurrence of quality issues
- Develop and maintain documentation of quality control procedures and results
- Train and educate employees on quality control processes and procedures
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and vendors to ensure the quality of incoming materials
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in quality control practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field
- Proven experience working in a quality control role in the food and beverages industry
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and guidelines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management systems
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
Salary Range
N100,000 – N150,000/month
