Responsibilities (Quality Assurance Engineer)

Execute functional/performance tests by spinning up disposable environments on demand to deploy microservices with different versions and configurations and customize database content.
Develop test automation at the pace of feature development utilizing our functional and performance test frameworks.
Analyze log files and troubleshoot production issues by automating and reproducing them in a non-production environment.
Plan, create, and implement strategies/solutions for feature validations and test automation.
Actively investigate, analyze, collaborate, understand, and document the application/service functionality.

Employment Type: Contract

This is a hybrid position.
The ideal candidate will have a self-starter attitude with high ownership, self-motivation, and accountability.

Skills & Qualifications (Quality Assurance Engineer)

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of experience in IT as a Quality Analyst, Software Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
5+ years of SQL, developing test plans and test scenarios.
2+ years’ experience creating and managing documentation.
Must possess initiative, results-oriented drive, and a solid work ethic requiring minimal direction.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to triage issues, identify root causes, and conduct investigations into problems as needed.
Familiarity with regression testing, release testing, and/or troubleshooting system issues.
Ability to communicate detailed information with analysts, developers, and other support teams
