Job Title: Product Manager
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Leverage fintech knowledge and industry insights to support the Head of Product to drive product innovation and digital transformation.
- Identify emerging technologies that can improve our financial services and optimise business processes.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify market opportunities and user needs.
- Occasionally work with the project manager to facilitate and lead agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives when required.
- Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and ensure that our products and services adhere to all compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to ensure product features are thoroughly tested and meet quality standards before release.
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to ensure our APIs and the endpoints that power our products are constantly driving overall product adoption and improved customer experience.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience with an emphasis on building digital products.
- Basic design prototyping skills
- Good understanding of one or all of Mixpanel, Netcore, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Customer.io.
- Good understanding of product metrics and how to use data to drive product decisions.
- Basic understanding of using SQL to extract Information and find insights on your own.
- Good spreadsheet analysis skills
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Trello, Asana) is desirable.
- Good presentation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a proactive and adaptable attitude.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
- Curiosity; you’re always seeking answers even in the face of failure.
