We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Procurement Analyst
Location: Bonny, Rivers
Responsibilities
- Manage Procurement Planning and Budgeting in Road construction
- Assist in conducting supply market research to identify potential Local and International suppliers, evaluate their products and services, and provide analysis as may be necessary to conduct efficient procurement.
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies to meet organizational needs.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and policies.
- Manage procurement activities including sourcing, vendor negotiation, and contract management.
- Maintain accurate and clear records and documentation related to procurement activities.
- Collaborate with Project managers to ensure procurement activities align with project objectives and goals.
- Ensure on-time delivery, challenge non-compliance in areas of responsibility, purchase order monitoring and updating.
- Monitor and track daily/weekly supplier deliveries by liaising with relevant stakeholders.
- Advise business on pofitable procurement investments
- Assist in preparing monthly supply chain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports as may be required.
- Assist in developing and maintaining a reporting system that measures the contribution of the procurement processes.
- Manage procurement process to mitigate wastage and ensure zero damages
- Assist in facilitating and coordinating best procurement practice, tendering and contracting.
- Assist in monitoring supplier performance and resolve any issues or concerns.
- Monitor market trend to advise project/busines on conditions of profit or loss risk
Requirements
- Intersted candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree, B.Eng with 8 years work experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years as a Procurement Specialist with at least 4 years in road construction project
Skills:
- Verse Planning and budget skills
- Good reporting skills
- Negotiation skill
