Job Title: Private Banking Executive

Location: Lagos

 

Job Summary

  • The Private Banking Executive is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients by providing tailored financial solutions and services.
  • This role involves building strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique financial needs, and offering personalized investment advice and wealth management services as well as ensuring deposit mobilization.
  • The Private Banking Executive will work closely with internal partners and external stakeholders to deliver a seamless and exceptional client experience.

 

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with high-net-worth clients.
  • Understand clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment preferences to provide customized solutions.
  • Conduct regular reviews of clients’ portfolios and provide recommendations based on market trends and changes in clients’ financial situations.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base.
  • Network with potential clients and referral sources to build a pipeline of new prospects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Financial Planning and Advisory:

  • Deposit Mobilization

Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all client interactions and transactions comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Collaboration and Teamwork:

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of the private banking strategy.
  • Share market insights and knowledge with colleagues to foster a collaborative working environment.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, marketing/sales or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of financial products, deposit/savings mobilization, investment strategies, and market trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships and achieving sales targets.
  • High level of integrity and commitment to client confidentiality and ethical standards.
