Your experience has given you a keen eye for storytelling, pacing, and visual aesthetics that hold viewers’ attention and drive engagement. You’re adept at transforming raw footage into polished, compelling content that not only entertains but also aligns with the brand’s message and goals.

As a Lead Editor, you’re equally comfortable in the trenches of post-production work and in a leadership role. You’re an exceptional communicator and have a proven track record of guiding editing teams, ensuring every project is executed flawlessly and on time. Your hands-on editing skills are matched by your ability to mentor and inspire other editors, setting the bar high and helping your team reach it.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee and participate in the editing of long-form YouTube content, maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Lead and manage a team of editors, providing them with constructive feedback, guidance, and motivation.
• Review all final edits to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards before delivery to our clients.
• Edit videos for a minimum of 32 hours per week, demonstrating your skills and setting a high standard for the rest of your team.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with overall creative vision.

What You’ll Bring

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in long-form video editing, preferably within the YouTube space, with a portfolio showcasing your skills and creativity.
• Proficiency in modern video editing tools and software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.
• Proven experience leading and managing video editing teams, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
• A meticulous eye for detail and a strong dedication to creating high-quality, engaging video content.
• Deep understanding of YouTube as a platform including its audience, trends, and best practices for content creation.
