We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Asaba, Delta
Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide medication counselling and education to customers.
- Monitor drug therapies for potential interactions and adverse effects.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Manage inventory and ensure the availability of pharmaceutical products.
- Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
- Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards
- Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
- Preparing new prescription and refill requests for patients
- Dispensing medication to patients per the Doctor’s prescription
- Report to the Superintendent Pharmacist in the department.
Qualifications
- Candidates must have a Degree in Pharmacy.
- 2 – 4 years of work experience.
- Candidate must possess a certification from the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria
- Strong Interpersonal Relationship Skills
- Good telephone etiquette
- Strong time management and organization skills
- candidate must be able to multi-task
- Emotional Intelligence
- Prioritizing, problem-solving and organization skills.
- Strong Computer appreciation skills
- Customer Care, communication, and public relations skills
- Articulate, cordial, hospitable, and pleasant personality.
