Description
- Dispense Medications: Accurately fill prescriptions and provide medications to patients.
- Patient Counseling: Offer advice and counseling on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.
- Medication Review: Conduct thorough reviews of patients’ medication regimens to ensure safety and efficacy.
- Health Screenings: Perform health and wellness screenings, such as blood pressure checks and cholesterol tests.
- Prescription Verification: Verify the accuracy and legality of prescriptions.
- Drug Therapy Management: Develop and implement medication therapy management plans.
- Inventory Management: Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and removing expired medications.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Providers: Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and lifestyle modifications.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the pharmacy operates in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Salary
N90,000 – N130,000 monthly.
