Job Role & Person- Specification

AfriLabs is seeking an HR Graduate Intern to join our dynamic team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for recent HR graduates to gain hands-on experience in People Management operations, data management, and administrative support within the vibrant Afrilabs community.

 

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities(People Management Intern)

HRIS Management:

  • Data entry and Maintenance: Assist in data entry tasks such as inputting employee information, updating records, and maintaining accuracy in the HRIS database. Ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Systems support: Assist employees with HRIS-related inquiries and issues.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate standard reports from the HRIS database as requested.
  • Assist in analyzing data to identify trends and patterns, and contribute insights for decision-making.

HR Support:

  • Assist with administrative tasks such as coordinating the HR policies and procedures, filing, scheduling, and correspondence.
  • Assist in employee onboarding/offboarding processes and documentation.
  • Support People Management projects and initiatives as needed.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required- People Management Intern

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management Systems or related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite; particularly Excel and Word and familiarity with HRIS systems and databases is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

Location: Pan-African

Working time/days: 9 AM- 5 PM; Monday to Friday

Working Style: Remote
