Responsibilities of Partnership Officer
- Research and Identify funding opportunities in United Way Greater Nigeria’s key focus areas.
- Prepare, develop and present resource mobilization proposal to targeted donors and partners.
- Expand the organization’s reach at events, conferences and meetings by fostering relationships with existing and potential donors, sponsors and partners for collaboration.
- Develop partnership KPIs for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support projects in all phases of the partnering process: partnership exploration, proposal writing, negotiation etc
- Provide strategic assistance to Program Manager, in developing strategies and processes, as well as initiating and enhancing partnership with stakeholders.
- Review and provide feedback on all partner’s reports.
- The duties and responsibilities set above are not exhaustive; other tasks related to the skills may be assigned.
Requirements
- Interested candidates should possess a B.A in relevant fields with 5 years work experience.
- Knowledge and experience in NGO management and community relations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate management and leadership abilities.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
