Job Summary
- We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our team of drivers and trucks, coordinate routes and schedules, and ensure efficient and safe deliveries.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to implement process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise a team of drivers and trucks
- Coordinate and plan routes, schedules, and deliveries
- Ability to manage employees in union.
- Source and recruit quality drivers
- Manage driver relations and ensure fair compensation (fixed pay)
- Experience in managing employees in a unionized environment
- Implement and enforce safety and security protocols
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in logistics or transportation
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards
- Experience with fleet management software and technologies
- Knowledge of managingSino Trucks (Howo)
