Operations Manager

 

 

Job Purpose:

  • Aligning operational responsibilities with overall administrative support by integrating administrative functions into each service area to ensure efficient service delivery.

 

Roles and Responsibilities:

Procurement Services:

  • Lead procurement activities for the company, including sourcing, negotiation, and contracting with suppliers and vendors.
    • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs, quality, and delivery times.
    • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
    • Manage relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
    • Coordinate administrative tasks related to procurement, such as document management, record-keeping, and invoice processing.

Engineering Services:

  • Oversee engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project scope, timeline, and budget.
    • Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to develop engineering solutions that meet project requirements.
    • Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure efficient project execution.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor project progress, quality, and safety standards.
    • Coordinate administrative tasks for engineering projects, including scheduling, resource allocation, and project documentation.

Oil and Gas Solutions:

  • Manage oil and gas projects,
    • Coordinate with industry partners and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal requirements.
    • Oversee the planning and execution of projects
    • Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.
    • Handle administrative tasks related to oil and gas projects, such as regulatory filings, permits, and compliance documentation.
    Admin Support for Harry Edukore Foundation:
    • Provide administrative support to the foundation’s team, including executive staff, program coordinators, and volunteers.
    • Assist with managing schedules, appointments, and calendars for key staff members, ensuring efficient coordination of activities.
    • Prepare and distribute correspondence, emails, and reports, maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.
    • Maintain organized filing systems, both electronic and physical, to ensure easy retrieval of documents and information.
    • Assist with the planning and execution of foundation events, fundraisers, and community outreach activities, including logistical arrangements and materials preparation.
    • Handle incoming inquiries and requests from stakeholders, donors, and community members, providing timely and courteous responses or directing them to the appropriate staff member.
    • Assist with basic financial tasks, such as processing donations, tracking expenses, and maintaining financial records.
    • Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences, and workshops, including venue booking, travel arrangements, and audiovisual setup.
    • Support the foundation’s communications efforts by updating website content, managing social media accounts, and drafting newsletters or promotional materials.

Thermal Installations:

  • Oversee thermal installation projects
    • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and contractors to design and install thermal systems that meet project requirements.
    • Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to ensure timely project completion.
    • Conduct site inspections and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
    • Manage administrative tasks for thermal installation projects, including project planning, documentation, and communication.

Vehicle Leasing and Car Hire Services:

  • Manage vehicle leasing and car hire operations, including fleet management, rental agreements, and customer service.
    • Develop and implement pricing strategies, rental policies, and service standards to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
    • Maintain fleet inventory and monitor vehicle maintenance and repair activities to ensure fleet reliability and safety.
    • Coordinate with insurance providers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Handle administrative functions for vehicle leasing and car hire services, such as scheduling, customer inquiries, and documentation management.

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, engineering, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5years of experience in operations management or a related role, preferably within the industries relevant to EFSOL INTERNATIONAL LIMITED
    • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the industries served by EFSOL INTERNATIONAL LIMITED, including engineering services, oil and gas, marine and logistics support, procurement, thermal installations, vehicle leasing, and car hire services.
    • Demonstrated track record of success in managing complex operational activities, overseeing multiple projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams, providing mentorship, guidance, and support to achieve operational objectives.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and enhance productivity.
    • Experience in stakeholder management, including building and maintaining relationships with clients, suppliers, vendors, and partners.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices related to the industries served by EFSOL INTERNATIONAL LIMITED.
    • Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures, to maximize profitability and control operational costs.
    • Track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing process enhancements to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
