Job Description – Operations Manager
- Overseeing Operations: Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of the company across various departments and locations.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency, improve profitability, and achieve business objectives.
- Budgeting and Cost Control: Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost control measures to meet financial targets.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity, streamline operations, and reduce costs.
- Supply Chain Management: Coordinate and optimize the supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods and services.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and manage a team of employees, providing guidance, performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control standards and processes to ensure that products and services meet customer expectations and comply with regulations.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, develop contingency plans, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Vendor and Contract Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers, vendors, and service providers, ensuring favorable terms, quality, and timely delivery.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and analyze operational data, generate reports, and provide insights for informed decision-making and performance tracking.
- Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication, resolve issues, and maintain strong business relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, implementing best practices, and staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in operations management in logistics, finance, engineering, and consultancy in international trade.
- Strong knowledge of the haulage & Finance industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/CRM-related applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
- MUST LIVE WITHIN vicinity of KOSOFE LGA AND ENVIRON
