Responsibilities
- Overseas daily operations and determined priorities for the foundation
- Supports planning and coordination of programs/projects and their activities
- Respond to a wide variety of requests for administrative activities/ personal affairs of the CEO
- Manage travel arrangements, flights, and hotel booking for the staff and the CEO
- Schedules and organizes meetings/ events and maintains agenda
- Prepares paperwork and other materials for funding and approval by management for all parts of the foundation
- Keeps updated records and creates reports or proposals for the foundation
- Analyze data and conclude findings to support project implementation
- Familiarity in performing data entry and work on Microsoft Office applications
- Profound knowledge of social media messages.
Experience:
- Previous experience working in the nonprofit sector or a similar field. This includes experience in project management, program coordination, or community development.
Knowledge of the Sector:
- Familiarity with the issues and challenges related to the NGO/Foundation’s mission and focus area. Understanding of local, national, or international development issues.
Project Management Skills:
- Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate projects. Strong organizational skills are crucial for coordinating the various aspects of the NGO/Foundation’s activities.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The coordinator will be be responsible for liaising with various stakeholders, writing reports, and communicating the organization’s mission to the public.
Networking and Relationship Building:
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with donors, partner organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders.
Financial Management:
- Some level of financial management skills, including budgeting and financial reporting. Understanding and experience with fundraising strategies and grant management are valuable.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Leadership qualities and the ability to work with a diverse team. The coordinator may need to manage and guide staff and volunteers.
Adaptability:
- Being adaptable and able to navigate unforeseen challenges is crucial.
Passion and Commitment:
- A genuine passion for the NGO/Foundation’s mission and a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the community or issue they address.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Social Wwork, International Development, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Project Management certification is an added advantage
- 3 – 7 years work experience.
Salary
N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
