  1. Athletic Coach
  2. Operations Officer
  3. Accountant
  4. Social Media and Communication Officer

 

 

 

1. Athletic Coach

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective teaching and instruction of all specific technical skill areas to student-athletes.
  • Coach student-athletes in their growth and development in the sport with techniques and fundamentals of their position and sports conditioning.
  • Develop team and individual strategies to have the greatest chance of winning within the sport, through on-court/field teaching.
  • Design instructional programs for the team and individual student-athletes and instruct student-athletes on how to implement a game plan as determined for each competition.
  • Responsible for overall performance of athletes’ academic progress by working closely with the academic support staff.

 

 

 

 

2. Operations Officer

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, oversee, and manage the overall operations of the Club
  • Coordinate health and safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
  • Develop and monitor policies related to the club
  • Oversee all administrative functions
  • Manage, assign, and evaluate coaches
  • Contribute to the implementation of marketing strategies

 

 

 

3. Accountant

 

Job Description

  • Manage and Monitor account receivables and payables as required.
  • Ensure that financial transactions are properly updated and recorded.
  • File both employee taxes (PAYE) and Company Income tax accurately when required.
  • Ensure payment of all statutory remittances (Tax, Pension, Insurance, etc).
  • Keep accurate records of all accounting documents including receipts, etc.
  • Make regular Bank runs as required.
  • Prepare and maintain petty cash book.
  • Account for all expenses both capital and petty cash.
  • Create contacts and maintain relationships with necessary statutory bodies.
  • Responsible for the handling and disbursement of petty cash.
  • Process vendor invoices, identify and resolve invoicing issues and accounting discrepancies
  • Prepare quarterly reports to the CEO on accounting activities.
  • Prepare management accounts report.
  • Prepare account statements for both individuals and groups.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACA, and ACCA are compulsory.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience
  • Treasury and Cash management experience is a must-have
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, accounting, and bookkeeping
  • Knowledge of Financial management systems, accounting policies, and standards; tax management, mergers, and acquisitions, costing accounting, etc
  • Accounting Applications such as QuickBooks.
  • Proximity to job location is important.

 

 

 

 

4. Social Media and Communication Officer

 

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to improving social media content across all the company’s social media channels by providing compelling material for our target audience
  • Collaborate with our communications and marketing departments to ensure high-quality and relevant content
  • Manage our social media platforms and communities by creating and posting content
  • Monitor and evaluate social media campaigns to recommend improvement
  • Identify gaps in our social media and communications strategies by conducting a competitive analysis
  • Keep track of social media trends and behaviors to ensure engaging and valuable content
  • Contribute to improving internal and external communications by helping develop and implement an effective communications strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Media, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience creating and managing social media content
  • Experience in developing and implementing successful social media and communications strategies
  • Experience with email marketing using different platforms, software, and tools, such as Mailchimp, Outlook, and Constant Contact
  • Outstanding communication, analytic, and interpersonal skills
