1. Social Media Intern

This internship is only open to recent graduates with less than one year of experience in marketing or any related field.

As a Social Media intern, you will be part of a full-time team responsible for managing our online presence across various social media platforms.

We’re looking for gen-Zers who are great communicators, have a bank of ideas, and spend at least a few hours every day on social media platforms, keeping up with trends and growing audiences.

You’ll work side by side with a tight-knit team of creative and kind problem solvers who will value you, allow you to meet high expectations, and actively create a supportive, nurturing space to accelerate your career.

Our team is small but highly accomplished, so your voice will be heard and your ideas will make meaningful contributions to the business. You’ll be bussing it down with the Marketing and Design team on content plans, strategies, visuals, and aesthetics.

 

We’ll trust you to:
  • Assist in developing and implementing social media strategies while maintaining consistency in brand personality and overall outlook.
  • Increase online presence and engagement.
  • Monitor social media channels for customer inquiries, comments, mentions, and messages, and resolve issues promptly and professionally, providing accurate information and assistance.
  • Curate compelling and relevant content for social media channels, including but not limited to product promotions, announcements, and community highlights.
  • Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and initiatives for marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with the support team to effectively resolve social media customer issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory solutions are provided to close DMs and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deeply understand and improve Chowdeck’s product.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Represent Chowdeck at self-hosted and external events

2. Junior Customer Support Representative

 

Job Summary

As a Customer Support Representative, you will be part of a full-time team that helps resolve customer and rider issues over multiple channels. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and resolving inquiries and issues related to Chowdeck deliveries.

You will act as the main point of contact for our customers, ensuring their experience with our app is positive and seamless.

This position will require the successful candidate to work extra hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure the completion of critical company goals. The ability to adapt to changing schedules and work under tight deadlines is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Help Chowdeck customers and riders resolve issues via chat, mobile calls, email, and social media, providing accurate information and appropriate solutions while maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor.
  • Manage customer orders, including order modifications, cancellations, and refunds. Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution of customer requests and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Stay up to date with the app’s features, policies, and processes to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a comprehensive knowledge base and support documentation.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in customer interactions, ensuring accurate and thorough communication. Follow established guidelines and protocols to deliver consistent and exceptional customer service.
  • Provide internal updates on insights from engagements with customers and merchants on improving Chowdeck’s overall services
  • Escalate order issues and liaise with payment processing partners, restaurants, and/or riders to resolve issues.
  • Support the Restaurant Operations team to meet the needs of our restaurant partners.

You will assist with deep integrations with our external vendor partners; you will also be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues and delivering exceptional support to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

We’re looking for experienced Backend Engineers at Chowdeck who’ll be responsible for building the API infrastructure that powers our food delivery service on multiple fronts – the customer app where people order food, our Vendor Hub used by restaurant owners, and the Rider app used by delivery drivers. Our tech stack consists of NodeJS, MySQL, Redis, AWS, Google Cloud, and other technologies.
