1. Chief Finance Officer (CFO)
The CFO will be responsible for maintaining and driving the financial operational efficiency of the company. This would include financial planning and analysis, accounting, budget management, financial reporting, and stakeholder relations.
Principal Accountabilities
- Partnering with the MD to develop financial strategies and profit improvement programs
- Identifying and re-assigning resources to growth opportunities and creating initiatives to grow sales and profitability
- Monitoring and managing forex volatility and its effects on our creditors
- Managing financial and business improvements, demonstrating agility and change leadership through team engagement, and supporting the sales team to understand
outcomes, consequences of bad decisions, and overall bottom line. - Ensure that the company’s financial systems are robust and compliant and support
current activities and future growth. - Contribute fully to developing company strategy across all business areas, challenging
assumptions and decision-making as appropriate and providing financial analysis and
guidance on all activities, plans, targets, and business drivers. - Responsible for the company’s cash management policies by managing the company’s
cash flow through constant reviewing of cash flow statements, performance against budget, credit facilities, and cash and collection and approving payments to suppliers as appropriate
Qualifications & Experience
- The candidate must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
- First degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA (or master’s degree) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience with at least 4 years managing a finance/accounting
and business strategy team in a managerial position in a manufacturing business or
FMCG group. - Strong working knowledge of financial reporting tools like Sage, ODOO, Tally, Epicor
ERP, or similar ERPs.
2. Head, Corporate Services
This role is designed to enhance organizational efficiency, support strategic initiatives, and foster a
cohesive working environment across departments such as Human Resources, Information Technology, Corporate Communications, Procurement, and Facilities Management to achieve operational excellence and sustainable growth.
Principal Accountabilities
- Develop and implement strategic plans for corporate services in alignment with the company’s overall business strategy.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the administrative, HR, IT, and procurement teams.
- Oversee HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and staff development.
- Develop and implement branding and communication strategies that effectively promote the company’s corporate culture and business strategy.
- Develop and manage media relations, maximize media opportunities, act as a company representative, and network with media representatives.
- Provide technical support and guidance in organizing the company’s public events.
- Oversee information governance, risk assessment, and management processes within the organization, advising the Board on the effectiveness of information risk management across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree added advantage).
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within corporate services, preferably in the medical equipment and supplies industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR, IT,
procurement, Corporate Communications and facilities management.
