A leading Lagos based Radio Station with top of the range facilities is recruiting suitable candidates to fill the position below:
1. General Manager
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the station’s objectives, including audience growth, revenue targets, and brand positioning.
Programming Oversight:
- Work closely with the programming department to develop and execute compelling content strategies that resonate with the station’s target audience.
- Monitor audience feedback and ratings to make informed programming decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Broadcasting, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience in radio broadcasting, with a minimum of 10 years in a management or leadership role.
2. Marketing Manager
Job Description
- Development, implementation and management of overall marketing strategies to continuously increase the company’s market share and profitability.
- Establish and maintain cordial relationships with media buying Agencies and Direct Clients.
Qualifications
- A First Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication or Social Sciences or related discipline from a reputable Institution.
- Working Experience in a Media Agency or in a Broadcasting Organization (Radio/TV) would also be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 10 years post-graduation experience, at least 5 of which should be in a Senior Management position of a Radio Broadcasting Station or Media Agencies.
3. Internal Auditor / Senior Accountant
Key Responsibilities
- Audit Planning and Execution: Develop and implement audit plans, conduct internal audits to assess financial and operational controls, and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Risk Assessment: Identify areas of financial risk within the company, recommend corrective actions, and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certifications such as ACA, CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are highly desirable.
- Experience: Must have 7-10 years of experience in accounting and internal auditing, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, SAGE, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills. Knowledge of data analytics tools is an advantage.
