Job Title: IT Personnel
Location: Bodija, Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Personnel to oversee and manage the organization’s technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT services. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
System Maintenance and Support:
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems.
- Provide technical support to employees, troubleshooting issues with computers, software, and peripherals.
- Monitor system performance and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
Network Management:
- Maintain and secure the organization’s LAN/WAN, internet, and intranet systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implement network security measures to protect data and systems.
Data Management and Security:
- Perform regular data backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
- Manage user accounts and permissions to maintain security and access control.
- Implement antivirus and other cybersecurity measures to safeguard IT systems.
IT Infrastructure Development:
- Assist in planning and upgrading IT systems to support business growth.
- Evaluate new technologies and recommend suitable solutions to improve efficiency.
- Oversee procurement and inventory of IT hardware and software.
Software Management:
- Install, update, and support business applications and operating systems.
- Train staff on new software and provide ongoing support as needed.
- Customize applications to meet specific business needs when required.
Technical Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed records of IT infrastructure, configurations, and troubleshooting activities.
- Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and IT project progress.
Support for Digital and Cloud Services:
- Manage cloud-based platforms and services, including email, file sharing, and backup solutions.
- Assist with the integration of digital tools and platforms into daily operations.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and common software applications.
- Hands-on experience with networking tools and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Workspace is a plus.
Soft Skills:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining technical issues to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Certifications (Preferred):
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator or equivalent
