We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: IT Officer
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (with potential for occasional after-hours work to address emergencies or perform maintenance)
Work Schedule: Mon – Sat (8am – 6pm)
Job Summary
- The position duties manages the network and server infrastructure of a company. The primary duties are the security of the company’s computer systems and electronic data, development and implementation of customized systems and overseeing all computer-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to employees for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Diagnose and resolve technical problems.
- Maintain a helpdesk system and ensure timely resolution of IT-related issues.
- Manage and maintain servers, network equipment, and other IT infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and ensure smooth operation.
- Implement and manage network security measures.
- Install, configure, and maintain software applications and operating systems.
- Ensure all hardware and software comply with company standards.
- Implement and manage data protection and privacy policies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Manage IT projects from conception through to completion.
- IT procurement for Nigeria (request verification/Quote collection/approval process/ Purchase
- Remote Support for the outstation users.
- Support and technical advice for the new IT requirements and software requirements
- vender follow ups – IT related
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an IT support or system administration role.
- Certifications: Relevant IT certifications will be an added advantage.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and hardware.
- Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, Linux, macros).
- Experience with network administration and cybersecurity practices.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with cloud services and virtualization technologies is a plus.
Salary Budget
N250,000 Monthly Gross.
