OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
- You are a journalist or broadcaster or have at least 3 (3) years of experience working in an Advertising Agency, Public Relations Agency or Startup or experience as an Editor for an online media platform.
- You have experience developing and executing Integrated communications strategies that deliver results for businesses and not-for-profit enterprises.
- Have excellent writing and communication skills.
- Have good copywriting and copy-editing skills.
- Conversant with trends in Business, Politics and the Non-profit sector.
- Have an Extensive list of media contacts and can organise Press conferences and coordinate PR campaigns across traditional (TV & Radio etc) and Digital Platforms.
- Awareness of and proficiency with communications technologies.
- Experience in stakeholder/community engagement. – Strong and confident leadership.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and turnover project deliverables quickly and accurately.
- Must possess exceptional verbal communication skills.
- Must be disciplined to read carefully, think critically, and strive for perfection.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
