1.) Grant and Stakeholder Manager

 

Job Description

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grant and Stakeholder Manager to join our team.
  • You will be responsible for identifying grant opportunities, preparing grant applications, and managing relationships with funders and stakeholders to support the financial sustainability of our initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify potential grant opportunities that align with our mission and projects.
  • Prepare and submit compelling grant applications, including writing proposals, budgets, and reports.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential donors, stakeholders, and funding bodies.
  • Monitor and report on the status of grants, including compliance with grant conditions and progress towards objectives.
  • Collaborate with our program teams to ensure alignment between project goals and funding opportunities.
  • Represent Inspire Her Afrika at relevant meetings, workshops, and fundraising events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communication, Non-Profit Management, or a related field.
  • 1+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated success in managing donor relationships and understanding of the philanthropic landscape.
  • Passion for Inspire Her Afrika’s mission and commitment to gender equality and women’s empowerment.

2.) Communications Manager

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a cohesive social media strategy to increase followership and engagement across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Create and curate engaging multimedia content, including posts, videos, and graphics, that promotes our programs and events to a diverse audience.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to boost visibility and engagement.
  • Engage with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews.
  • Oversee the management of our website content, ensuring it is current, dynamic, and informative.
  • Collaborate with other teams to promote upcoming events and mentorship opportunities.
  • Manage a calendar of scheduled posts and content across all platforms to ensure a steady stream of relevant updates.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to digital marketing strategies.
  • Contributes ideas for new programs, researching and recommending innovative branding techniques.
  • Liase with the Engagement Officer for external engagement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’ Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field with at least 2 years experience.
  • Proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or organization.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and provide insights on social media trends.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to translate complex ideas into engaging content.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for women’s empowerment and a deep understanding of the cultural context in Africa.

3.) Assistant Administrative and Liaison Officer

 

Job Overview

  • We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Assistant Administrative and Liaison Officer to join our team.
  • In this role, you will provide administrative support to our office, ensuring efficient operations and facilitating communication between our mentors, mentees and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administrative Duties: primarily handles administrative tasks related to the mentorship program. This includes managing program logistics, scheduling meetings, and organizing events.
  • Coordination and Support:
    • Often acts as a central point of contact and support within the organization.
    • Facilitate internal communication, assist with scheduling, and ensure the smooth flow of administrative processes.
  • External Liaison: may interact with external stakeholders, external communication is limited to coordinating meetings and events and responding to inquiries.
  • Record Keeping:
    • Maintain records of program activities, attendance, and communication.
    • Ensure that program documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Event Coordination: responsible for planning and organizing mentorship-related events, workshops, and meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a dynamic office environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
