Job Description of an Immigration Clerk

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Immigration Clerk.
• As an immigration clerk, you will play a crucial role in assisting our clients with their immigration paperwork and processes.
• This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of immigration laws and procedures.

Responsibilities of an Immigration Clerk

• Assist clients with filling out immigration forms and applications accurately.
• Review and organize documentation required for immigration processes.
• Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on their case status.
• Coordinate appointments and interviews with immigration authorities.
• Maintain accurate records and databases of client information and case progress.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration laws and regulations.

Requirements

• OND / HND qualification in a relevant field (e.g. preferably international relations)
• Proven experience working in an administrative role, preferably in immigration or legal services.
• Strong knowledge of immigration laws and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management software.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
