Our client is a leading manufacturer of high-quality ceramic products,
committed to innovation and excellence. We are expanding our market presence and seeking a
dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts in Abuja, Nigeria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales within the ceramics or related industry and a proven track record of driving sales growth.

 

Position Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales
strategies to increase market share, manage key accounts, and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, capable of managing a sales team and achieving ambitious sales targets.

 

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy Development:.

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve the company’s sales goals and objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and create plans to penetrate these markets.

2. Team Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and development.

3. Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Use insights to inform sales strategies and tactics.

4. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.

5. Sales Operations:

  • Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and results.
  • Manage sales budgets and allocate resources effectively.

6. Product Knowledge:

  • Maintain a deep understanding of the company’s product offerings and features.
  • Provide product training and support to the sales team and customers.

7. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts.
  • Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of products

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the ceramics industry or related field.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Willingness to travel as required.

 

Salary Range:
• ₦5,000,000 – ₦8,000,000 per annum (Negotiable based on experience and
qualifications).
