Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Marketing Head to lead our marketing efforts in the ceramics production sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong
background in marketing strategy, brand management, and team leadership, with a proven track
record of driving business growth and enhancing brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the
company’s business objectives. - Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends within
the ceramics industry. - Create and manage marketing plans, including budget allocation and resource
management.
2. Brand Management:
- Oversee brand positioning and ensure consistent brand messaging across all
marketing channels. - Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistency in visual and verbal
communication. - Enhance brand awareness and reputation through strategic marketing initiatives.
3. Digital Marketing:
- Lead digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and online advertising.
- Analyze digital marketing performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better
results. - Manage the company’s online presence, including the website and social media platforms.
4. Product Marketing:
- Collaborate with the product development team to create and execute go-tomarket strategies for new products.
- Develop product positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation.
- Conduct market segmentation and targeting to identify key customer segments.
5. Sales Support:
- Work closely with the sales team to develop sales collateral and promotional
materials. - Provide marketing support for sales initiatives and participate in sales meetings and presentations.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for marketing intervention.
6. Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the marketing team to achieve departmental and company goals.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
7. Customer Insights and Relationship Management:
- Develop and implement customer feedback mechanisms to gather insights and
improve customer satisfaction. - Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including
customers, partners, and industry influencers. - Organize and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences.
8. Reporting and Analysis:
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Utilize data analytics to measure ROI and inform decision-making.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA is preferred.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a senior marketing role, preferably in the ceramics or related industry.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, digital marketing, and brand management.
- Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics and tools such as Google Analytics, CRM software, and social media platforms.
- Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Remuneration: ₦8m per Annum
