Function/Department: Supply Chain Operations|Level: Professional|Reports To:Warehouse Dispatch Supervisor|Work Location: Lagos
Purpose
The Dispatch Analyst, at the Supply Chain Operations department is responsible for the preparation of timely dispatch requests, and regular cleanup of the requests database to ensure redundant/obsolete requests are removed from the database. This includes total collaboration with warehouse operations units to dispatch items in the right lead time for efficient operations of the warehouse.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Resolve exceptions relating to dispatch requests and recommend corrective actions to the User Department.
- Interface with the User Department on dispatch requests.
- Clean up the requests database and ensure redundant/obsolete requests are removed from the database.
- Ensure timely preparation of dispatch requests for shipping.
- Ensure easy identification of assets reserved to fulfill user requests.
- Partake in ad-hoc audit of assets at the warehouse to correct Master Data issues.
- Partake in Monthly / Cycle stock count.
- Share shipments prepared daily with the Dispatch Supervisor.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor/Line Manager

Experience & Qualifications Required
- Bachelor’s degree in any field / Supply chain or related field.
- Professional certification in the supply chain would be an advantage.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with a strong focus on supply chain operations.
- Demonstrated experience in a warehouse operations environment.
