Job Description

A leading Primary Mortgage Bank in Nigeria is desirous to hire a visionary, tech-inclined, and innovative personnel to head its Agent Banking operations. Such personnel is expected to possess a background in handling Operations and Leading Diverse business units and teams towards getting targets, and revenue-focused results; The role is a Senior Management level and the potential candidate is expected to be able to grow a brand from inception to deployment and ultimately to becoming the leading competition with less / zero need for supervision; Provide management, leadership and vision to ensure the organization meets its short-term and long-term objectives. Create enduring policies and a company culture that strengthens operational efficiency and generates revenue.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

Leading Digital Transformation:

  • Initiate and drive customer success by enhancing the Brand value
  • Responsible for spearheading innovation in the company
  • Focused on technology and drive the way the business operates on a day to day basis.


Build operational Strategy:

  • Coordinate other departments like IT, sales, marketing, human resources and business development
  • Responsible for some other team heads as well, such as Head of Sales, Head of Finance, HR, and Customer success
  • Manage the reporting and accountability structures, processes, set deadlines, track timelines, and manage the frameworks
  • Oversee the daily business & administrative operations and improving operating procedures for optimal efficiency
  • Enhance the efficiency of internal and external operational processes
  • Work with the sales and growth teams to drive Company revenue and achieve weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly budgets
  • Establish policies that improve and promote the Company’s vision and culture
  • Evaluate Company performance and recommend strategies to improve results
  • Collaborate with Management and other stakeholders to raise capital and carry out other business-expanding strategies.

Requirements

  • MSc/MBA in Business Administration or relevant field would be an added advantage.
  • 10-12 years with a minimum of 8 years in the leadership position particularly on the role in question
  • Proven experience as Chief Operating Officer/Head of operations of a Tech company, or relevant role
  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc
  • Excellent knowledge of Agency Banking Solutions, Fintech Space, lending Enterprise solutions
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing operations system, policies, processes and procedures
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong financial management and budgeting skills
  • Internal client management skills
  • In depth understanding of process improvement and optimization disciplines, tools, and techniques
  • Strong ability to balance between long- and short-term objectives
  • Demonstrable strong Intra-preneurial skills
  • Proven track record in change management
  • Demonstrable team building and line management skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal communication, and influencing skills
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics
  • Working knowledge of IT / Business infrastructure and MS Office
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Apt in decision-making and problem-solving
