Job Description
This role is critical in managing the reception area, handling customer inquiries, and ensuring smooth communication flow within the company. The Front Desk Officer also assists with administrative tasks and contributes to creating a positive customer experience.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a service-oriented or utility company.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management software.
Job Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors and customers, directing them to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Handles service requests (complaints, enquiries and reports) promptly and professionally via phone and in-person and escalates unresolved issues in the relevant department for resolution.
- Monitors service requests (complaints, enquiries and reports) to closure.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including calls, emails, and deliveries.
- Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
- Manage records of visitors and customers.
- Maintain a positive attitude while dealing with customers and employees.
- Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and visitors enter.
- Collaborate with security personnel to maintain the safety and security of the facility.
- Other duties as assigned.
