Job Title: Finance Operations Specialist

Location: Lagos

About the Role

  • The Operations Finance role is responsible for the end-to-end process of settlements and reconciliation of PayU Nigeria financial data as well as Merchant data.
  • This role is the link between Global accounting and local financial data by providing accuracy and insight to ensure alignment.

 

What You will be Doing

  • Reconciliation of Merchant transactions
  • Analysis of Merchant transactions
  • Verification and alignment of settlement of merchant data
  • Resolution of any reconciliations issues or settlement issues that may arise
  • Responsible for communication with local banks
  • Ensuring accuracy of settlement data
  • Providing business with detailed reporting
  • Consolidate reporting for month-end process
  • Collaborate with the global finance team to ensure accurate and timely month-end close.
  • Provide audit support.

 

What are We Looking for?

  • PayU is looking for a candidate who has the relevant University Degree  (Finance/Economics/Analytics/Accounting)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar role or finance-related role
  • Excellent Excel skills and exposure to global financial tools
  • Ability to work within deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical skills
