About the Role
- The Operations Finance role is responsible for the end-to-end process of settlements and reconciliation of PayU Nigeria financial data as well as Merchant data.
- This role is the link between Global accounting and local financial data by providing accuracy and insight to ensure alignment.
What You will be Doing
- Reconciliation of Merchant transactions
- Analysis of Merchant transactions
- Verification and alignment of settlement of merchant data
- Resolution of any reconciliations issues or settlement issues that may arise
- Responsible for communication with local banks
- Ensuring accuracy of settlement data
- Providing business with detailed reporting
- Consolidate reporting for month-end process
- Collaborate with the global finance team to ensure accurate and timely month-end close.
- Provide audit support.
What are We Looking for?
- PayU is looking for a candidate who has the relevant University Degree (Finance/Economics/Analytics/Accounting)
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar role or finance-related role
- Excellent Excel skills and exposure to global financial tools
- Ability to work within deadlines.
- Excellent analytical skills
