Job Responsibilities: Finance Manager

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to analyze and forecast company performance.
Provide insightful analysis of financial results, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with team to develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Financial Reporting:

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (remittances, audit etc) and accounting standards.
Monitor and analyze financial metrics to identify areas for improvement and risk mitigation.

Cash Flow Management:

Manage cash flow effectively, optimizing working capital and liquidity.
Implement strategies to enhance cash flow forecasting accuracy and efficiency.
Assess and recommend improvements to treasury processes.

Risk Management:

Identify and assess financial risks, proposing mitigation strategies.
Stay informed about market trends and industry developments to anticipate potential risks.
Collaborate with other departments to implement risk management policies and procedures.

Strategic Financial Leadership:

Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and the organization, contributing to key business decisions.
Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities and capital allocation strategies.
Collaborate with leadership to drive financial discipline and foster a culture of financial responsibility.
Manage and monitor department activities, metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
Perform all necessary financial management duties as required.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, professional certification (e.g., ICAN, AAT, CPA, CFA) is required. MBA is highly desirable.
7 years of progressive experience in finance/accounting roles. At least 4years’ experience in financial management roles.
Exceptional proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting.
Good knowledge of regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Salary
N500,000 – N550,000 Monthly.
