Job Description

A Christian-based organization is looking for a well-organized Executive Assistant to provide
support for an Executive. This is a great opportunity to establish working relationships with highlevel executives and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization. A successful candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic graphic design knowledge, and demonstrate creative and critical thinking abilities. Also, research, proposal writing and project management skills are necessary and certification is a plus but is not compulsory. Knowledge on NGOs and managing grants is equally an advantage.

Remuneration: Competitive & Negotiable

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the C.E.O of a faith-based organisation.
  • Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
  • Must be able to create presentations using visual materials.
  • Demonstrate creative and critical thinking by proposing innovative ideas and solutions to
    improve processes.
  • Coordinate and manage various projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to
    objectives.
  • Assist in organizing and managing training programs, including logistics, materials, facilitators and participant coordination.
  • Draft and edit letters, proposals, and other written communications with a high level of
    accuracy and professionalism.
  • Maintain confidential information with the utmost discretion and handle sensitive matters appropriately.
  • Conduct research, gather data, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and liaise with external stakeholders when required.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or similar role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic graphic design tools and software.
  • Strong creative and critical thinking abilities.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Ability to manage and coordinate trainings.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using productivity tools and software (e.g., Microsoft office)
  • Adaptability to work both in an office setting and remotely.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
