Multi-plan Pathway College is seeking a dedicated Cambridge IT Tutor to empower our students with the knowledge and skills essential for success in their exams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a dynamic learning environment where students can develop their IT competencies, engage in hands-on learning, and enhance their problem-solving abilities through innovative teaching practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement engaging IT curriculum aligned with Cambridge standards.
- Conduct lessons that cover practical applications of IT, including software usage, coding, and digital literacy.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular testing, projects, and coursework.
- Provide constructive feedback and tailor additional support for students needing further assistance.
- Stay current with IT trends and advancements to enhance curriculum and teaching methods.
- Encourage students to explore technology’s impact on society and the workforce.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote cross-curricular projects and enhance student learning experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience in teaching IT or a similar role, ideally within the Cambridge framework.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages, software, and digital tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
- Passion for technology and educating students.
- Relevant teaching certifications or qualifications are a plus.
