Position Overview
- We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
- Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Lead Generation: Utilize various channels to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
- Client Outreach: Initiate and maintain communication with potential clients through email, calls, and networking events to introduce Kaplo Africa’s services and establish relationships.
- Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation of tailored proposals and presentations for client meetings, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative strategies and solutions to meet client needs effectively.
- Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team in coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and following up on leads to drive conversion.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute fresh ideas and insights to the team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong passion for business development and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
- Prior experience in sales or business development is preferred but not required.
