Position Overview

  • We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team.
  • This internship presents an exciting opportunity for a driven individual to gain hands-on experience in business development within the talent development industry.
  • The selected candidate will have the chance to work closely with seasoned professionals, contributing to our growth initiatives while honing their skills and knowledge.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead Generation: Utilize various channels to generate leads and build a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Client Outreach: Initiate and maintain communication with potential clients through email, calls, and networking events to introduce Kaplo Africa’s services and establish relationships.
  • Proposal Development: Assist in the preparation of tailored proposals and presentations for client meetings, ensuring alignment with their needs and objectives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams to develop innovative strategies and solutions to meet client needs effectively.
  • Sales Support: Provide support to the sales team in coordinating meetings, preparing materials, and following up on leads to drive conversion.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to contribute fresh ideas and insights to the team.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong passion for business development and a desire to learn and grow in the field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative and drive projects forward.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software is a plus.
  • Prior experience in sales or business development is preferred but not required.
