Skillpaddy Technology is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities through partnerships in both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) sectors. This role is pivotal to the growth of our Edu-tech and talent outsourcing business.

 

 

We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, approach, and establish partnerships with potential clients and partners.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
  • Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts.
  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
  • Analyze market data to develop strategies for business growth.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct meetings to understand client needs and present relevant solutions.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business development targets.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Track and report on sales metrics and business development activities.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new partners and clients.
  • Maintain a CRM database of client information and interactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to partners and clients.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales and marketing principles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
