Skillpaddy Technology is seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities through partnerships in both Business-to-Business (B2B) and Business-to-Consumer (B2C) sectors. This role is pivotal to the growth of our Edu-tech and talent outsourcing business.

Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and establish partnerships with potential clients and partners.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective partners.
- Negotiate partnership agreements and contracts.
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and industry trends.
- Analyze market data to develop strategies for business growth.
- Generate leads through various channels, including networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Follow up on leads and conduct meetings to understand client needs and present relevant solutions.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business development targets.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Track and report on sales metrics and business development activities.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth onboarding of new partners and clients.
- Maintain a CRM database of client information and interactions.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to partners and clients.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of B2B and B2C sales and marketing principles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
