Purpose of Role

  • This role is responsible for overseeing the performance of the sales team, achieving sales targets, maintaining the appearance of the store, and ensuring compliance with facility usage. Additionally, it involves managing administrative tasks and facility operations to uphold organizational efficiency and safety standards.




  1.  Sales and Showroom Management:
  • Proactively approach customers upon their entry into the showroom, assessing their furniture/product preferences, and providing personalized assistance.
  • Develop innovative sales strategies and techniques to attract new customers and enhance showroom traffic.
  • Supervise the sales process, address customer inquiries courteously, and ensure successful sales closures, fostering customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the showroom, ensuring a visually appealing environment for customers.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key clients, including Hospitality, Corporate bodies, and Individuals, while identifying growth opportunities.
  • Conduct outbound lead follow-up calls to nurture customer relationships and promote products/services.
  • Establish and maintain internal liaisons to enhance service quality, business growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide customers with accurate information regarding delivery schedules, service contracts, and warranties.
  • Participate in exhibitions and conferences to promote sales and marketing strategies.
  • Supervise the sales team to ensure optimal performance and provide support in pitching and closing viable sales prospects.

2.  Admin & Compliance:

  • Monitor and track stocks of office supplies, initiating orders as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Supervise office assistant, ensuring adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Ensure basic facilities (e.g., generators, lights, water) are operational and well-maintained to support daily operations.
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations, and environmental, health, and security standards within the store premises.
  • Maintain a safe working environment for staff and a welcoming atmosphere for customers.
  • Manage office documents, including reports, memos, emails, letters, and invoices, both in hard and soft copies.
  • Manage staff meetings and minutes taking and communicate minutes to all departments.
  • Work closely with the internal auditor on accurate bookkeeping, inventory management, and the financial management of petty cash for business operations.
  • Work with HR to effectively manage direct reports.




  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for building rapport with customers and managing a sales team.
  • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and guide sales staff toward achieving targets.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to close sales and foster customer satisfaction.
  • Customer-centric approach to understanding and fulfilling customer needs and preferences.
  • Organizational skills to maintain the appearance of the showroom and uphold efficiency standards.
  • Problem-solving mindset to address customer inquiries and resolve any sales-related issues.
  • Adaptability to develop innovative sales strategies and techniques to attract new customers.
  • Proficiency in sales management software for tracking sales performance and managing customer relationships.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems for monitoring product availability and delivery schedules.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies and techniques for promoting products/services and attracting customers.
  • Understanding of sales processes and techniques for effectively guiding customers through the sales journey.
  • Experience in participating in exhibitions and conferences to showcase products/services and generate leads.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for document management.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the retail industry. Marketing experience is an added advantage.
  • Social Media Savvy.
  • The ability to write proposals is an added advantage.


N300,000 – N350,000 monthly.
